Sandwiches with Grill & BBQ

A delicious sandwich made with good bread together with a great salad can make a fantastic meal. This cheese sandwich tastes of luxury but is easy and quick to make and satisfies a need for something salty, crispy and delicious.

Method

Toast the sourdough bread.

Trim the ends of the asparagus and cut the squash into 8 pieces lengthways using a mandoline slicer or a sharp knife.

Cut the Grill & BBQ into 8 slices and fry in a pan until crisp and golden.

Remove from the pan and fry the asparagus and slices of squash until they turn a slightly golden colour.

Brush a little oil onto the bread and add the filling in the following order: 2 slices of cheese, squash, asparagus, parma ham.

Thinly slice the spring onion and sprinkle over.

Drizzle with oil and a pinch of salt and serve immediately.
