Crisp salad with green asparagus and strawberries

Asparagus and strawberries! This is true summer food, and both taste great in a salad. Add quinoa, cashew nuts and Taverna Finest salad cheese with chilli and garlic – it’s the perfect combination when the sun is high in the sky.

Method

Step 1:
Snap off the ends of the asparagus and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Rinse and finely chop the celery. Coarsely chop the parsley and put in a bowl.

Step 2:
Cook the quinoa according to the packet instructions and add to the salad.

Step 3:
Rinse the strawberries and, if necessary, cut into smaller pieces and add to the salad.

Step 4:
Add salad cheese.

Step 5:
Toast the cashew nuts in a pan and sprinkle over the salad.
Whisk the dressing, pour over the salad and serve!

Tip: You can replace strawberries with raspberries or blueberries; they also taste great!
