Purposes for processing your personal data

  1. Visiting our websites – using cookies:

When you interact with our websites, we use cookies to improve your experience on our websites and to analyse visitor patterns and conduct personalised marketing. NORDEX’s use of cookies can be divided into three categories:

    1. Necessary cookies that help make our websites usable by enabling basic functions such as page navigation. This category of cookies cannot be deselected and does not require consent.

If you follow us or interact with us on our company social media pages, including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn, the information you share in connection with this will be subject to the terms of use for each social media.

  1. Establishment and maintenance of customer and/or supplier terms and conditions

We register contact and identity data for our customers and suppliers. The legal basis for this processing is that we must be able to fulfil the agreements entered into and document this.

  2. Email enquiries

When you take the opportunity to write to NORDEX via email, we will store, forward and/or reply to these. The basis for this processing is the consent you give us when you choose to submit an email. Naturally, the basis for the processing can change if the reason for your email enquiry relates to other grounds for processing. For example, emails where goods are ordered could be archived in order to document the agreement entered into. Here, the basis for processing is the fulfilment of the contract.

  3. Use of job agent and submission of job applications:

The purpose of the job agent and our job application portal is that we want to be able to attract the best employees and to provide a confidential basis for exchanging information about employment opportunities in NORDEX, the candidates’ profiles and other matters relevant to recruitment. The basis for this processing is your consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.

How do we generally process your personal data?

  1. NORDEX follows current legislation in the processing of your personal data.

  1. NORDEX does not store personal data in a form that enables the identification of users for longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data was collected or for which it is subsequently processed.

  1. NORDEX does not process personal data specifying medical or health conditions, racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union membership or information specifying the sex life of the individual.

  1. NORDEX uses subcontractors to process personal data (data processors). These subcontractors are typically cloud service providers or other IT hosting services. NORDEX ensures that the processing is regulated by a data processing agreement that obliges the data processor.

  1. NORDEX processes personal data within the European Economic Area (EEA). In cases where personal data is transferred or processed outside the EEA by NORDEX or on behalf of NORDEX, such transfers will be based on the EU Commission’s standard contracts.

How long we store your personal data for

NORDEX only stores your personal data for as long as necessary in relation to the purpose(s) for which it has been collected. This means that personal data will be deleted no later than when there is no longer a relevant basis for us to continue storing it. Due to the different purposes for collecting and processing personal data, there may also be large differences in how long the personal data is stored. For example, there will be a need to store information that is included in bookkeeping material for more than five years, while personal data that is collected via cookies will usually be deleted after a couple of months. Submitted job applications will be deleted after 6 months at the latest.

What rights do you have?

In addition to being informed about NORDEX’s processing of your personal data, you have a number of rights: You have the right to be informed at any time about what personal data NORDEX has registered about you. In addition, you have the right to have your personal data corrected or deleted by requesting NORDEX to do so. However, these rights may be limited by NORDEX’s interest in or obligation to retain documentation for any agreements entered into, in order to comply with a legal obligation.
