Bean salad with grilled Padrón peppers

Filling salad with Taverna chilli marinated salad cheese which tastes wonderful on a warm summer’s day. Vary the salad by swapping pea shoots for rocket or spinach or swapping raspberries for other types of berries or adding whatever you have in your garden.

Method

Rinse the black beans and put them in a dish.

Roast the Padrón peppers under the grill or in a frying pan until they blacken and blister a little.

Arrange them over the beans and sprinkle with salt.

Add the raspberries and pea shoots and lastly pour the oil and cheese from the Taverna chilli marinated salad cheese over the salad and serve immediately.
