Paneer
Paneer is a protein-rich cheese ideal for cooking that originates from the Indian subcontinent. The cheese has a firm consistency and a very mild taste – and is perfect for those meat-free days.
With Paneer, you can make fantastic home-made curries or vegetable stews and the cheese also works well in dishes where you might otherwise have chosen chicken. If you have any leftovers, paneer also tastes delicious in a vegetarian wrap with the rest of your curry or as an accompaniment to a salad the following day. This allows you to increase the number of meat-free dishes without having to give up great tasting meals.
