Greek salad with roasted peppers and Grill & BBQ

The Greeks are experts at combining crisp salads and good cheese, and we have taken inspiration from them in putting together this tasty salad, which tastes of summer no matter what the time of year. This salad is a nice accompaniment to both meat and vegetarian dishes.


Turn on the grill, place the peppers on a baking tray on the top shelf closest to the grill. Roast the peppers until they blacken and then turn them over. Take them out of the oven and allow to cool before carefully removing the skin and cutting into thin strips.
Divide the cucumber lengthways, remove the seeds and cut into thin slices.
Slice the cheese and fry in a pan in a little oil until crisp and golden.
Combine the romaine lettuce, peppers, cucumber and olives. Mix the ingredients for the dressing and pour over. Add the cheese and serve immediately.
